We took the family to Malabar Farm for the Maple Syrup Festival today. This is our annual field trip to celebrate the coming of spring & rid ourselves of the old cabin fever. Then we come home & fix a huge stack of flapjacks & sausage for dinner. Gotta have, blueberries, walnuts, and real maple syrup on them griddlecakes!
